About our Crosses

A number of people have asked about the pectoral cross we wear as Community members.

It is based on a design by a Genoese sculptor. Antonio Dele. The cross represents the Good Shepherd who guides his flock to the fold and carries the lost sheep on his shoulders. We in the Community see ourselves as leading people to God, and when necessary carrying some people on our shoulders because they are unable to make the journey alone.
The linear style is intended as  a symbol of a poor church among the poor.
