Glastonbury Pilgrimage

Again this year we participated fully in the Glastonbury Pilgrimage.

Deacon Sarah, who only finished as our sub Prior last week was the Deacon of the Mass and  Br Simon carried the Ombrellino for the Procession of the Blessed Sacrament. The Prior Con-celebrated and administered the Sacrament. Two year’s earlier Br Sam had given the devotional address at Benediction.

The day started with the Pilgrimage itself, journeying across the Somerset Levels we met some cows. who said ‘Hi!’.

Bishop Roger Jupp, Chairman of the Pilgrimage Association visited us while we were having our Picnic Lunch after Mass. Also our young Parishioners showed us what they had made while we were at Mass: Chalices like Joesph of Arimathia, the silversmith made.
