Hospitality shown to Syrian Refugees on Benedict’s Feast Day

In keeping with the Rule of our Holy Father Benedict we marked the Anniversary of his death by showing hospitality to Syrian refugee families who have  settled in Abergavenny

The Prior, Fr Mark Soady said.” Hospitality is at the heart of the Rule of St Benedict, so how better to mark his Feast than to show hospitality to those who have lost everything.  It was a real pleasure to have them for coffee this morning”.

We endeavour to heal the Five Wounds of Christ as many of us are Anglican like Robin and me and man6 RCatholics and others from other pathways

    • Our apologies – we said offices in private last week, as some of the community were on a post-Easter break. I understand you met the Prior while you were visiting. We hope you enjoyed your stay at Llansabbath; we’re very blessed to live in this gorgeous part of the country. Lovely to hear about your community too!
