Praying the Novena: Thy Kingdom come

We have been preparing for the Thy Kingdom Come initiative for a little while.

Br Josh has been preparing the church trail on prayer in the bible for couple of weeks.

Last weekend our Sub Prior, Fr Tom distributed family packs around the parish in readiness for the start of the Novena

Our Prior Fr Mark (a Chaplain to Gwent Police) got the prayer time under way at 10am on Ascension Day with Prayers for the local police. During the prayers we prayed for  different aspects of the police work, including giving thanks for the service of police officers, prayers for victims of crime and the offenders, leadership, relationship with communities, restoration and revival and for officers family life and homes.
